In this case, the Lexington Chapter of AFH is simply joining an event that has already been set up downtown (sponsored by the Kentucky Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects in partnership with the Lexington Art League). Of course, it is really a national event.
From what I understand there are still a few (of the 15 allotted spaces) still up for grabs. If those of you at EOP want to join our chapter's efforts, I'm sure we can grab one or two more spots (perhaps even adjacent to the one we already have). Or if EOP is interested in working on a space under your own name, then you should be able to contact the ASLA or the Lexington Art League to obtain a space.
Either way, it should be an excellent event and a lot of fun!
Here's a link with a little more info:
Hey Michael et al.,
Some of us at EOP Architects are interested in occupying a space downtown, and hopefully gathering other design firms to join. Who else is AFH-Lex partnering with for these 15 spots? Should I get in touch with the city about reserving one of them?
Can't make it to the meeting today, but look forward to being involved in the future.

Hey Michael, we should chat at some point and discuss the possibility of hosting your design competition on the Open Architecture Network. We are working on expanding the competition tools and opening up the system to additional organizations.
