For those of you that don't know, we are in the midst of a masterplanning project with the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program. We held a design charette in late fall and produced 3 sketch options for review. After posting the plans at the facility for a number of weeks, and collecting feedback from residents, staff, and committee members, they have settled on one scheme they like most (with some extra comments and wishes of course).

Greetings everyone!
Instead of meeting at our usual place and time, we are planning on getting our hands dirty with a little physical work in the community this week.
Our April Meeting will once again take place at 6:15pm on the first Monday of the month (April 5th). We will discuss be an exciting new local project as well as catch everyone up on other things our chapter has been involved in lately. All entries for the Logo and T-Shirt Design Competition are due at this meeting as well. We hope to see everyone there!
We meet on the first Monday of every month. On March 1st, instead of our usual meeting, we will be having an optional work session devoted to finishing up our Art-in-Motion competition entries. If you have been working on a design, feel free to come out and join us.
AFH-Lexington will be having its next Monthly meeting on the first Monday of the month as usual. We will be meeting once again at the office of RossTarrant Architects at 101 Old Lafayette Ave here in Lexington.
Scott Diamond from 'Art in Motion' will be joining us to discuss what their group has been up to locally, and we will be kicking off a brand new Lexington Bus Shelter Design Competition.
Of course, we will also update everyone on other projects and design opportunities that are on-going in our Chapter. As always, invite anyone you think may be interested. See you there!
Our third meeting will be held on the First Monday of the month once again. We will be meeting Monday evening, January 4th at 7:00 pm at the office of RossTarrant Architects. Their office is located at 101 Old Lafayette Ave, Lexington, KY 40502.
We are planning on kicking off a local Bus Shelter Design Competition. We have a guest speaker representing Art in Motion who will fill us in on all the details.
